Job summary

Windmills Group in the UAE is seeking a skilled SQA Engineer to ensure software quality, reliability, and performance through thorough testing, defect detection, and feature validation. You will work closely with developers and project teams to ensure applications meet business and technical requirements, with emphasis on robust API testing and SQL verification.

The role requires attention to detail, analytical mindset, and strong communication to document QA results and drive improvements

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, IT, or related field.
• 2+ years of professional Software QA/Testing experience with strong manual testing skills.
• Good knowledge of SDLC, STLC, and various testing types.
• Hands-on API testing with Postman and SQL/database testing (MySQL preferred).
• Experience with Jira, Azure DevOps or similar, and Agile/Scrum, plus automation testing.

Responsibilities

• Create and execute test cases, scenarios, and plans based on requirements.
• Perform functional, regression, integration, smoke, sanity, and system testing.
• Conduct API testing using Postman and database validation using SQL/MySQL.
• Identify, document, track, and verify defects using Jira, Azure DevOps, or similar tools.
• Maintain QA documentation, report testing status, and collaborate with development teams.
• Participate in Agile/Scrum activities and continuously improve QA processes and automation skills.
