Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, IT or related field.
• 2+ years of professional Software QA/Testing experience with strong manual testing skills.
• Experience with API testing, SQL/database testing (preferably MySQL).

Responsibilities

• Create and execute test cases, scenarios and plans based on requirements.
• Perform functional, regression, integration, smoke, sanity and system testing.
• Conduct API testing using Postman and validate data with SQL/MySQL.
• Identify, document, track and verify defects using Jira or Azure DevOps.
• Maintain QA documentation and report testing status; collaborate with Dev teams.
• Participate in Agile Scrum activities and contribute to QA process improvements.

Job description

As a SQA Engineer you will ensure software quality reliability and performance by testing applications identifying defects and validating new features You will collaborate with developers and project teams to ensure applications meet business and technical requirements The ideal candidate should have strong testing knowledge attention to detail and excellent analytical and troubleshooting skills.

Key Responsibilities

• Create and execute test cases scenarios and plans based on requirements
• Perform functional regression integration smoke sanity and system testing
• Conduct API testing using Postman and database validation using SQL MySQL
• Identify document track and verify defects using Jira Azure DevOps or similar tools
• Maintain QA documentation report testing status and collaborate with development teams
• Participate in Agile Scrum activities and continuously improve QA processes and automation skills
• Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, IT, or a related field. 2+ years of professional experience in Software QA/Testing with strong manual testing skills
• Good knowledge of SDLC, STLC, and functional, regression, integration, smoke, sanity, and system testing
• Hands-on experience with API testing using Postman and SQL/database testing, preferably MySQL
• Experience with Jira, Azure DevOps, or similar tools, with an understanding of Agile/Scrum and automation testing
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and attention-to-detail skills
