Qualifications

  • At least 3-5 years of experience in planning, performance management, or a related role.
  • Strong background in project management and process optimization.
  • Experience with performance management systems and tools.

Responsibilities

About the Job:

The Specialist Planning and Performance is responsible for developing, implementing, and monitoring strategic plans and performance management frameworks within the organization. This role ensures that key performance indicators (KPIs), project milestones, and operational goals are met effectively and efficiently, contributing to the overall success of the business. The position also involves identifying areas for performance improvement and optimizing processes to meet organizational objectives.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:
Strategic Planning & Coordination
  • Collaborate with senior management to develop long-term strategic plans and ensure alignment with the company’s overall goals.
  • Coordinate and lead the creation of detailed operational plans that outline project timelines, resource allocation, and key deliverables.
  • Monitor the implementation of plans, ensuring they are executed on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
Performance Monitoring & Reporting
  • Develop and implement systems for monitoring and assessing performance across departments, projects, and operations.
  • Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the effectiveness of various functions and teams.
  • Prepare regular performance reports for senior management, highlighting successes, challenges, and areas for improvement.
  • Analyse performance data to identify trends, opportunities for optimization, and potential risks.
Process Improvement
  • Identify opportunities to enhance performance through process improvements, system optimizations, and best practices.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to implement process changes that drive efficiency, reduce costs, and improve quality.
  • Develop and recommend strategies for continuous improvement initiatives across operations.
Risk Management & Problem Solving
  • Monitor and identify potential risks that could impact the execution of plans or performance outcomes.
  • Develop contingency plans to address identified risks and mitigate their impact on projects or operational activities.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve performance-related issues by analysing root causes and recommending corrective actions.
Project Management Support:
  • Support the project management team by tracking project progress, ensuring that milestones are met, and deliverables are on schedule.
  • Assist with resource planning and ensure that resources are allocated effectively to meet project deadlines.
  • Liaise with various teams to ensure that project plans and performance targets are clearly communicated and understood.
Stakeholder Engagement
  • Regularly engage with internal stakeholders (management, operations, finance, etc.) to provide performance updates, insights, and recommendations.
  • Collaborate with external stakeholders such as vendors or clients to ensure alignment with performance objectives and goals.
Data Analysis & Reporting Tools
  • Utilize advanced data analysis techniques and software tools (e.g., Excel, Power BI, etc.) to track and report on operational performance.
  • Ensure that all data collected for performance measurement is accurate, timely, and relevant for decision-making.
Training and Development
  • Provide training and support to teams on planning processes, performance measurement tools and best practices.
  • Promote a performance-oriented culture across the organization by fostering continuous learning and improvement.
Minimum Requirtments:
