Specialist IVF Physician – Fertility Medicine, Dubai, United Arab Emirates, Full‑time.

Overview

A qualified reproductive medicine doctor who can manage fertility evaluations, treatment planning, IVF and ICSI cycles, and reproductive health procedures while following UAE healthcare standards and international fertility protocols. The role supports patients and couples through every stage of the fertility journey, from initial consultation and diagnostic review to treatment monitoring, procedure coordination, embryo transfer support, and follow‑up care.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct fertility consultations, reproductive health assessments, and infertility evaluations for patients and couples.
• Develop individualized treatment plans for infertility, hormonal concerns, reproductive health conditions, and assisted conception needs.
• Manage IVF and ICSI cycles, including ovulation induction, follicular monitoring, medication protocols, egg retrieval coordination, embryo transfer, and related ART procedures.
• Interpret diagnostic results such as ultrasound scans, hormonal profiles, semen analysis, genetic screening reports, and fertility investigation findings.
• Collaborate with embryologists, fertility nurses, laboratory teams, and other medical specialists to support safe and effective patient outcomes.
• Provide clear counselling and emotional support to patients throughout fertility investigations, treatment decisions, procedure stages, and post‑treatment follow‑up.
• Monitor treatment response, review cycle outcomes, and adjust care plans based on clinical progress and evidence‑based fertility practice.
• Maintain accurate medical documentation in line with DHA requirements, clinical governance standards, and internal healthcare policies.
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives, patient safety programs, and service development within reproductive medicine.
• Stay updated with advancements in IVF, ICSI, fertility preservation, assisted reproductive technology, and international reproductive medicine standards.

Ideal Profile

• Medical degree such as MBBS or MD from a recognised institution.
• Completed specialisation in Obstetrics and Gynaecology.
• Fellowship, subspecialty training, or strong clinical experience in Reproductive Medicine, IVF, or assisted reproductive technology.
• Valid DHA licence or eligibility for Specialist IVF Physician or relevant reproductive medicine practice.
• Minimum 3–5 years of experience in IVF, fertility treatment, and reproductive medicine within a reputable healthcare facility.
• Proven expertise in ART procedures, IVF cycle management, ICSI support, ovulation induction, and fertility treatment planning.
• Strong understanding of international fertility treatment protocols, patient safety standards, and UAE healthcare requirements.
• Experience with advanced fertility preservation techniques is an advantage.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, counselling, and patient‑support skills.
• Fluency in English is required; Arabic language skills are an advantage.
• Ability to work effectively in a multicultural healthcare environment.
