Specialist IVF Physician - Reproductive Medicine in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates is a specialized Medical Practice opportunity for an experienced physician skilled in infertility diagnosis, IVF care, assisted reproductive technology, and patient-centered fertility treatment. This role is suited to a reproductive medicine specialist who can manage IVF and ICSI cycles, support couples through sensitive fertility journeys, and deliver evidence-based care in line with UAE healthcare standards and international best practices.

The Specialist IVF Physician will provide advanced fertility and reproductive medicine care for patients and couples seeking support with infertility, reproductive health concerns, and assisted conception. The role combines clinical assessment, IVF cycle management, diagnostic interpretation, emotional counselling, and multidisciplinary collaboration to improve treatment outcomes and patient confidence throughout the fertility journey.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct fertility consultations, reproductive health assessments, and detailed evaluations for patients and couples
• Develop individualized treatment plans for infertility, reproductive medicine needs, and assisted reproductive procedures
• Perform and manage IVF and ICSI cycles, including ovulation induction, follicular monitoring, egg retrievals, embryo transfers, and related ART procedures
• Interpret diagnostic tests such as ultrasound scans, hormonal profiles, semen analysis, genetic screening results, and fertility investigations
• Work closely with embryologists, nurses, laboratory teams, and multidisciplinary healthcare professionals to support optimal patient outcomes
• Provide counselling and emotional support to patients throughout fertility treatment planning, procedure stages, and follow-up care
• Monitor treatment progress, review cycle outcomes, and adjust fertility care plans based on clinical response and patient needs
• Maintain accurate medical records, consent documentation, treatment plans, and follow-up notes in line with DOH regulations and clinical governance standards
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives to support safe, effective, and patient-focused fertility services
• Stay updated with advancements in reproductive medicine, fertility preservation, IVF technologies, and international treatment protocols

Ideal Profile

• Medical degree such as MBBS, MD, or equivalent from a recognized institution
• Completion of specialization in Obstetrics and Gynecology with fellowship or subspecialty training in Reproductive Medicine or IVF
• DOH Abu Dhabi license or eligibility is mandatory
• Minimum 3-5 years of experience in IVF and fertility treatments within a reputable healthcare facility
• Proven expertise in assisted reproductive technology procedures and fertility management
• Experience with IVF, ICSI, ovulation induction, follicular monitoring, egg retrieval, embryo transfer, and patient follow-up
• Strong understanding of international fertility treatment protocols and reproductive medicine standards
• Experience with advanced fertility preservation techniques is preferred
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and patient counselling skills
• Ability to work effectively in a multicultural healthcare environment
• Fluency in English is required, while Arabic language skills are an advantage
