Job summary

Job Purpose

Facilitate the implementation of ENOC Innovation strategy and business transformation though Innovation. Drive the submission & implementation of ideas/suggestions through effective coordination. Manage the innovate system including screening, evaluation & awarding of ideas. Track, monitor and report on Innovation KPS.

Principal Accountabilities

Innovation Governance, Culture & Competency:
Support the Manager Innovation in the deployment of the Innovation Strategy & Ideas Management Program.
Support and facilitate innovation competency enhancement through engagement sessions, workshops, communications, campaigns and other innovation-related activities.
Engage employees in idea generation through promotional campaigns, activities & awareness sessions.
Track, monitor, analyse and report progress on both Group level & Business level Innovation KPIs.
Ideas Management Administration:
Coordinate & administer the Innovate – idea management system for ENOC group.
Analyse suggestions to ensure accurate screening & evaluation.
Collaborate to achieve continuous reduction in idea evaluation cycle time through regular age analysis & timely action.
Manage idea tracking & monitoring through the online system for daily status of ideas, generating reports for department reviews & continuously update the tracking status sheet.
Collaborate to achieve continuous reduction in idea implementation time through regular follow-up.
Regularly update content on the Innovation Management System (Announcements, calendar, video guides, galleries, etc).
Analyze and prepare management reports on the benefits from idea implementation.
Operations:
Coordinate all events, communication, marketing content, giveaways & media releases with Group Communications.
Drive and facilitate payment and rewarding processes related to innovation function
Support the Innovation Manager during campaigns, events, communication & other innovation-related activities.
Change Management
Support the creation of awareness and improvement in organizational understanding about innovation and ideation.
Facilitate change and resistance management through communication, influence sessions, campaigns, events and workshops to bring about culture change
Benchmarking and Award Participation:
Facilitate and support bench marking and continuous improvement initiatives that propagate innovation.
Facilitate and involve in the participation in external innovation forums and award programs such as Idea Arabia, Idea UK and provide relevant specialist support to the Group Departments and Businesses.

Cyber Information Security Responsibilities

Comply with all applicable information security policies, standards, and procedures.
Classify and protect information assets in accordance with the Data Classification Standard.
Participate in mandatory information security awareness and training programs.
Support information security initiatives and activities within the organization.
Consider information security requirements when managing changes involving information assets.
Report security incidents, vulnerabilities, weaknesses, or non-compliance in accordance with established procedures.
Fulfil role-specific information security responsibilities and contribute to maintaining the effectiveness of the Information Security Management System (ISMS).

Experience

Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering preferred.
Experience: Minimum 5 years of work experience in fielded related to managing various types of Innovation. Experience in administration of suggestion schemes essential including familiarity with work environment, business etiquette, systems, etc.
Technical Skills:
Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel & PowerPoint).
Knowledge of SharePoint & Visio would be an added benefit.
General business knowledge to effectively categorize & manage ideas
Interpersonal Skills:
Good communication skills with ability to influence and manage change desirable
Strong coordination skills to be able to track all suggestions at different stages
Strong organization & time-management skills to be able to manage all suggestions & achieve results against KPIs in a timely manner.
