Job description

As part of COE-OPAMI, under the Reliability, Asset Management, Performance and Innovation (RAMPi) function, the Assistant Manager is mainly responsible for driving operational excellence through performance monitoring, analysis, and continuous improvement initiatives across ENOVA's facilities. This role will lead the development and management of performance dashboards, KPI frameworks, and innovation programs to support ENOVA's strategy and business objectives.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct comprehensive reviews of site operational performance against established KPIs and SLAs
  • Analyse performance trends, variances, and patterns to identify areas of concern and opportunities for improvement
  • Prepare detailed performance reports with insights, root cause analysis, and actionable recommendations
  • Establish performance benchmarks and best practices across multiple sites
  • Coordinate monthly and quarterly performance review meetings with site leadership and stakeholders
  • Track and report on corrective action implementation and effectiveness
  • Identify, develop, and implement new KPIs to enhance operational performance visibility and management effectiveness
  • Review and refine existing KPIs to ensure relevance, accuracy, and alignment with business objectives
  • Establish KPI definitions, calculation methodologies, data sources, and target setting frameworks
  • Ensure KPIs align with industry standards, best practices, and client requirements
  • Create KPI documentation including measurement procedures, data validation protocols, and reporting guidelines
  • Conduct periodic KPI effectiveness reviews and recommend improvements
  • Maintain close collaboration with site operations teams to understand challenges and support performance enhancement
  • Provide analytical support and insights to site managers for data-driven decision making
  • Challenge existing practices and facilitate problem-solving sessions to drive continuous improvement
  • Support root cause analysis for performance gaps and underperforming areas
  • Facilitate knowledge sharing and best practice transfer across sites
  • Conduct site visits to validate data accuracy and understand operational realities
  • Manage the development of new performance dashboards in collaboration with data analysts and IT teams
  • Define dashboard requirements, specifications, user interfaces, and visualization standards
  • Oversee dashboard design ensuring user-friendly, intuitive, and actionable insights
  • Perform or Coordinate user acceptance testing and stakeholder feedback incorporation
  • Ensure dashboards integrate data from multiple sources (CMMS/CAFM, ERP, BMS, IoT platforms and so on)
  • Manage dashboard deployment, user training, and adoption across the organization
  • Oversee the upkeeping and maintenance of existing performance dashboards
  • Monitor dashboard performance, data accuracy, and system reliability
  • Coordinate with IT and data teams to resolve technical issues and data discrepancies
  • Implement regular dashboard updates based on changing business requirements
  • Optimize dashboard performance, loading times, and user experience
  • Manage user feedback and enhancement requests
  • Ensure dashboards remain aligned with evolving KPIs and reporting needs
  • Identify and document data quality issues across operational systems (CMMS, CAFM, BMS, and other data sources)
  • Define and implement Data Quality Indicators (DQIs) to measure accuracy, completeness, consistency, timeliness, and validity of data
  • Establish data quality standards, thresholds, and acceptance criteria for critical data elements
  • Conduct regular data quality audits and assessments across sites and systems
  • Prepare comprehensive data quality reports highlighting issues, trends, and improvement areas
  • Facilitate data quality improvement workshops and root cause analysis sessions with site teams
  • Develop data quality improvement action plans with clear ownership and timelines
  • Implement data validation rules, automated checks, and quality control mechanisms
  • Collaborate with IT and system administrators to enhance data capture processes and system configurations
  • Track and measure the impact of data quality improvements on reporting accuracy and decision-making effectiveness
  • Introduce innovative approaches to performance management and operational excellence
  • Research and evaluate emerging technologies, tools, and methodologies for performance optimization
  • Pilot new performance management techniques including predictive analytics and automation
  • Drive digital transformation initiatives within performance management function
  • Foster a culture of data-driven decision making
  • Manage the innovation and idea management program from the Centre of Excellence (Head Office)
  • Establish structured processes for idea submission, evaluation, and implementation
  • Coordinate innovation campaigns and employee engagement initiatives
  • Evaluate submitted ideas for feasibility, impact, and alignment with strategic objectives
  • Facilitate cross-functional collaboration for idea development and implementation
  • Measure and report on innovation program outcomes and ROI
  • Recognize and coordinate for rewarding innovative contributions from teams and individuals
  • Maintain innovation repository and knowledge management system

Customer Relations:

Develop proactive working relationships with site teams, technical partners, and client representatives to support seamless implementation and monitoring of vibration analysis programs. Identify opportunities for service enhancement and cost efficiency through early fault detection and reliability improvements.

Minimum Experience & Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Business Administration, Data Analytics/ Data Science, or related field
  • Master's degree or MBA is preferred
  • Professional certifications in power BI or business analytics or UI are advantageous
  • Knowledge of Data Warehouse and Advanced analytical platform are advantageous
  • Valid UAE driving license
  • Minimum 6-8 years of progressive experience in performance management, operations excellence, or business analytics
  • Minimum 2-3 years in supervisory or managerial role
  • Experience in facilities management
  • Proven track record of implementing performance management digital systems and dashboards
  • Experience managing innovation programs or continuous improvement initiatives
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with ability to interpret complex data sets
  • Expert knowledge of KPI development, performance measurement frameworks, and balanced scorecards
  • Proficiency in data visualization and dashboard tools (Power BI, or similar)
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills including pivot tables, advanced formulas, and data modelling
  • Experience with CMMS/CAFM systems (Maximo and MRI Evolution)
  • Knowledge of business intelligence platforms and data analytics tools
  • Experience with data quality assessment tools and methodologies
  • Understanding of facilities management operations, maintenance practices, and service delivery
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills in English
  • Innovation management and design thinking skills
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in cross-functional teams
  • Proficiency in statistical analysis and data interpretation
  • Experience with SQL or database querying is advantageous
  • Ability to travel across Enova facilities as required
