Wood in Abu Dhabi is seeking an experienced Specialist Engineer, Piping with oversight of electrical systems on offshore platforms to ensure safe and efficient operation for a high-profile client.

You will lead the design, installation, and maintenance programs, ensuring compliance with safety regulations, budgets, and schedules while providing expert technical support to operations teams and driving continuous improvement across projects.

Formación

• Experience leading electrical systems on offshore platforms (oil and gas).
• Strong project management and budgeting skills.
• Knowledge of safety standards and regulatory requirements.

Responsabilidades

• Lead the design and implementation of electrical systems for offshore platforms to meet project specs.
• Ensure electrical systems comply with safety regulations and standards to protect personnel and equipment.
• Develop and oversee maintenance programs for reliability and efficiency of electrical systems.
• Manage electrical engineering projects including budgeting, scheduling, and resource allocation.
• Provide technical expertise and support to engineering teams and operations personnel.
• Identify and mitigate risks associated with electrical systems on offshore platforms.
• Ensure all electrical work meets quality standards and specifications.
