SearchPlus HR is excited to announce a career opportunity for a Specialist/Consultant Ophthalmologist. We are searching for an experienced and dedicated professional to join our medical team and provide exemplary care to our patients suffering from various eye conditions.

In this position, you will be expected to perform comprehensive eye examinations, diagnose a range of ophthalmic conditions, and conduct surgical procedures as necessary. Your role will be vital in improving and maintaining the visual health of our patients, ensuring they receive the highest quality of care.

Responsibilities:
  • Conduct comprehensive eye examinations and interpret diagnostic tests to assess visual health.
  • Diagnose and treat a variety of eye diseases and conditions, including cataracts, glaucoma, and diabetic retinopathy.
  • Perform surgical interventions such as cataract surgeries, refractive surgeries, and lens implant procedures.
  • Prescribe medical and therapeutic treatments as needed for various ocular conditions.
  • Provide postoperative care and monitor patients’ recovery to ensure the best outcomes.
  • Educate patients about eye conditions, treatment options, and preventative care.
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive patient management.
  • Engage in continuous education to remain current with advancements in ophthalmology.
  • Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) with completed residency training in Ophthalmology.
  • Board certification in Ophthalmology is required.
  • Demonstrated experience in diagnosing and managing a wide range of eye conditions.
  • Advanced skills in performing both surgical and non-surgical ophthalmic procedures.
  • In-depth knowledge of ocular anatomy, diseases, and the latest treatment modalities.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills for patient interactions.
  • Strong organizational and time management abilities.
  • Commitment to providing high-quality patient care with a compassionate approach.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
  • Active medical license to practice Ophthalmology in the relevant jurisdiction.
