Job summary

Allocation Assist Middle East seeks an experienced Specialist OBGYN to provide comprehensive obstetrics and gynecology care in Dubai for Arabic-speaking patients, ensuring culturally sensitive communication.

You will lead maternal and fetal care, perform surgeries as needed, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team while maintaining meticulous records and engaging in ongoing medical education and quality improvement.

Qualifications

• MBBS/MD or equivalent from a recognized institution.
• Specialist qualification in Obstetrics and Gynecology.
• Arab Board/MRCOG or equivalent certification.
• DOH license eligibility to practice in UAE.
• Minimum 5 years post-specialization experience in hospital or women’s health clinic.

• Diagnose and manage routine, complex, and high-risk pregnancies.

Role Context

This position requires an experienced Specialist OBGYN with strong capabilities across obstetrics, gynecology, maternal healthcare, and women 's reproductive health. The specialist will assess patients, manage pregnancies, conduct deliveries, perform surgical procedures, and provide follow-up care in accordance with evidence-based clinical standards. The role carries particular responsibility for supporting Arabic-speaking patients through clear, respectful, and culturally appropriate communication. Close collaboration with midwives, neonatologists, anesthesiologists, nursing teams, and other medical professionals will help ensure coordinated care for mothers and babies.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct detailed obstetric and gynecological consultations and clinical examinations.
• Diagnose and manage routine, complex, and high-risk pregnancies.
• Provide comprehensive antenatal, natal, and postnatal care.
• Monitor maternal and fetal health throughout pregnancy and childbirth.
• Develop individualized care plans based on clinical findings and patient needs.
• Perform cesarean sections, hysterectomies, and laparoscopic procedures.
• Conduct dilation and curettage procedures, colposcopy, and fertility-related interventions.
• Evaluate gynecological symptoms and recommend appropriate diagnostic investigations.
• Interpret clinical findings and adjust treatment plans according to patient progress.
• Collaborate with midwives, neonatologists, anesthesiologists, and other healthcare professionals.
• Explain diagnoses, treatment options, surgical procedures, risks, and aftercare in Arabic when required.
• Educate patients and families about pregnancy, reproductive health, recovery, and preventive care.
• Respond appropriately to obstetric emergencies and clinical complications.
• Maintain complete, accurate, and confidential patient records.
• Comply with clinical protocols, licensing requirements, ethical standards, and patient-safety procedures.
• Participate in departmental audits, Continuing Medical Education activities, and quality improvement programs.

Ideal Profile

• Medical degree such as MBBS, MD, or an equivalent qualification from a recognized institution.
• Recognized specialist qualification in Obstetrics and Gynecology.
• Arab Board, MRCOG, or an equivalent professional certification.
• Valid DOH license or eligibility to obtain the required professional license.
• Minimum of 5 years of post-specialization experience in a hospital or women 's health clinic.
• Demonstrated experience managing routine and high-risk pregnancies.
• Strong surgical competence across obstetric and gynecological procedures.
• Sound diagnostic judgment and evidence-based treatment-planning abilities.
• Fluency in spoken and written Arabic.
• Strong professional communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to explain sensitive medical information clearly and compassionately.
• Culturally aware and patient-centered approach to women 's healthcare.
• Capacity to work effectively within a multidisciplinary clinical team.
