Role Context

The Specialist OBGYN – Arabic will support a leading healthcare facility by delivering safe, compassionate, and clinically structured women’s healthcare services for Arabic‑speaking and multicultural patients. The role has direct impact on maternal safety, fetal well‑being, gynecological diagnosis, surgical care, and patient confidence during important stages of reproductive health.

Working with midwives, neonatologists, anesthesiologists, nurses, and multidisciplinary clinical teams, the specialist will help ensure clear communication, timely intervention, accurate documentation, and high standards of obstetric and gynecological care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct detailed OBGYN consultations, clinical examinations, history reviews, risk assessments, and follow‑up planning for women across reproductive and maternity care stages.
  • Manage routine and high‑risk pregnancies with attention to maternal health, fetal monitoring, antenatal screening, delivery planning, and postnatal recovery.
  • Provide antenatal and postnatal care focused on pregnancy progress, maternal comfort, fetal well‑being, newborn‑related coordination, and family education.
  • Perform gynecological and obstetric procedures including cesarean sections, hysterectomies, laparoscopies, D and C, colposcopy, and fertility‑related interventions within approved clinical scope.
  • Evaluate and manage common and complex gynecological conditions, including menstrual concerns, pelvic pain, abnormal bleeding, reproductive health issues, and fertility‑related presentations.
  • Coordinate integrated care with midwives, neonatologists, anesthesiologists, nurses, radiologists, fertility specialists, and other multidisciplinary healthcare professionals.
  • Communicate clearly with Arabic‑speaking patients and families, ensuring diagnosis, treatment options, procedure risks, pregnancy plans, and recovery expectations are well understood.
  • Support culturally sensitive care delivery while maintaining patient dignity, confidentiality, informed consent, and trust throughout clinical interactions.
  • Maintain accurate medical records, consultation notes, operative reports, consent documentation, antenatal records, delivery notes, postnatal follow‑up plans, and procedure details.
  • Ensure compliance with DHA regulations, hospital protocols, clinical governance requirements, infection control standards, and patient safety practices.
  • Participate in departmental audits, morbidity reviews, continuing medical education activities, quality improvement initiatives, and clinical service discussions.
  • Contribute to evidence‑based women’s health practice by staying updated with current obstetric and gynecological guidelines, surgical standards, and maternity care protocols.
Ideal Profile
  • Medical Degree such as MBBS, MD, or equivalent from a recognized institution.
