Job summary

MindBase Education in Abu Dhabi seeks a dedicated Part-Time SEN Teacher / Tutor to support students with diverse learning needs. The role focuses on personalized strategies to promote academic progress and overall development.

You will work one-on-one and in small groups, developing individualized plans and collaborating with parents and professionals as needed to ensure inclusive learning outcomes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Education, Special Education, Psychology, or related field.
• Experience with students with special educational needs.
• Knowledge of differentiated instruction and inclusive teaching.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide one-on-one and/or small group teaching sessions.
• Develop and implement individualized learning plans tailored to each student’s needs.
• Support students with SEN including autism, ADHD, dyslexia, dyspraxia, speech and language difficulties, and SEMH.
• Adapt teaching strategies, resources and lesson plans for accessibility and engagement.
• Monitor student progress and provide regular feedback to parents/guardians.
• Foster a positive, inclusive and supportive learning environment.
• Build strong relationships with students to enhance confidence, independence and motivation.
• Collaborate with parents, schools and other professionals where required.
• Maintain accurate records of sessions, progress and outcomes.

About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Part-Time SEN Teacher / Tutor in Abu Dhabi to support students with diverse learning needs. The ideal candidate will be experienced in working with children and young people across a wide spectrum of special educational needs delivering personalized support that promotes both academic progress and overall development.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide one-on-one and/or small group teaching sessions
  

• Develop and implement individualized learning plans tailored to each students needs
  

• Support students with a range of special educational needs including autism ADHD dyslexia dyspraxia speech and language difficulties and social emotional and mental health (SEMH) needs
  

• Adapt teaching strategies resources and lesson plans to ensure accessibility and engagement
  

• Monitor student progress and provide regular feedback to parents/guardians
  

• Foster a positive inclusive and supportive learning environment
  

• Build strong relationships with students to enhance confidence independence and motivation

Requirements
