Job summary

O-Machines in Dubai is looking for a Spare Parts Purchasing Assistant to manage the procurement of spare parts and tools for CNC machines. You will communicate with suppliers to negotiate prices, process orders, and maintain records. The ideal candidate has 1-3 years of experience in purchasing, a basic understanding of CNC machines, and strong organizational skills. Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Assist in the procurement of spare parts, tools, and consumables for CNC machines and related equipment.
• Communicate with suppliers to obtain quotes, negotiate prices, and confirm delivery schedules.
• Process purchase orders and ensure timely follow-up on shipments and deliveries.
• Maintain accurate records of orders, invoices, and supplier information.
• Coordinate with the technical and service departments for identifying correct spare parts.
• Assist in evaluating and selecting suppliers based on quality, cost, and reliability.
• Track and report on purchasing performance, delivery times, and supplier compliance.

Requirements

• Previous experience (1–3 years) in purchasing or spare parts management — preferably in the CNC or industrial machinery sector.
• Basic understanding of CNC machines, mechanical components, and industrial spare parts.
• Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word) and ERP or purchasing software.
• Effective communication and negotiation skills.
