Wynn Al Marjan Island is seeking a Sommelier for its Steakhouse by Alain Ducasse to join the Beverage team on-property in the UAE. The role focuses on expert wine knowledge, guest engagement, and seamless service in a luxury dining setting.

Minimum 1–2 years in wine service within fine dining is required, with a basic sommelier certification preferred. English fluency is essential; additional languages are a plus, and strong inventory skills are expected.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of wine service experience in fine-dining or luxury hospitality.
• Basic sommelier certification (e.g., WSET Level 2) preferred.
• Fluency in English; additional languages are a plus.
• Ability to present wine lists, manage inventory, and cellar maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests in a positive, friendly manner and relay requests to colleagues.
• Demonstrate mastery of wine, beer, and cocktail offerings to guests.
• Lead wine service and train staff on wine presentation and service standards.
• Monitor beverage inventory and ensure proper storage, labeling, and waste control.
