Job summary

ConFlip in Dubai is seeking an experienced sommelier for a full-time role, offering a competitive salary of AED 1,000 per month. Immigrant candidates are welcome to apply.

You will provide wine recommendations, manage inventory and ordering, oversee storage and temperature control, and train waiting staff on product knowledge and service standards to ensure exceptional guest experiences.

Qualifications

• Minimum two years of sommelier experience in a restaurant or hotel.

• WSET Level 3 (or higher) certification required.

Job description

Job Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing a high quality sommelier service to all customers, including recommending appropriate wines and other beverages to accompany meals. Additionally, they will provide training to wait staff on product knowledge and service standards.

Required Qualifications

The ideal candidate should have a minimum of two years of experience as a sommelier in a restaurant or hotel environment. They should also possess excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. A WSET Level 3 or higher certification is required, while knowledge of beer and spirits would be an advantage.
