Job summary

Mackenzie Jones Middle East partners with a global systems integrator to recruit an Enterprise Architect for pre-sales and解决 architecture leadership in Abu Dhabi. You will shape transformation programs across cloud, data, and AI, guiding executive stakeholders and delivery teams.

In this role, you will translate business needs into end-to-end architectures, design Azure-based data/analytics platforms, architect modernization efforts, and lead strategic workshops to win large-scale engagements.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience in solution architecture, application modernization or cloud transformation.
• Proven pre-sales delivery and ability to translate requirements into architectures.
• Strong knowledge of APIs, containers, Kubernetes, and event-driven patterns.
• Experience with Azure data services, PaaS, serverless, analytics, and AI toolchains.
• Track record of winning large-scale transformation programs.

Responsibilities

• Lead strategic consulting conversations identifying transformation opportunities across applications, data, and AI strategy.
• Guide pre-sales engagements, design cloud-native architectures, and influence senior stakeholders.
• Translate requirements into end-to-end solution architectures with reference models and roadmaps.
• Architect modernization solutions including re-platforming, containers, microservices, and API enablement.
• Design data and AI architectures using data lakes, MLOps, and analytics platforms on Azure.
• Integrate SaaS/enterprise systems (Oracle, CRM, ERP) ensuring interoperability and security.
• Develop proposals, RFP responses, estimates, and SOWs in collaboration with pursuit and delivery teams.
• Lead executive and technical workshops to shape outcomes and drive direction.
• Apply TOGAF or equivalent EA frameworks for scalable, governed designs.
• Act as trusted advisor from early engagement through deal closure.

Responsibilities

• Lead strategic consulting conversations, identifying transformation opportunities across application portfolios, data platforms, and AI/automation strategy.
• Lead strategic pre-sales engagements, guiding clients through enterprise application, data, and AI transformation. Design complex cloud-native architectures, influence senior stakeholders, and collaborate with client executives, delivery teams, and partners to shape and secure large-scale transformation programmes.
• Translate business and technology requirements into end-to-end solution architectures, including reference models, migration patterns, and capability roadmaps.
• Architect application modernization solutions including re-platforming, containerization, microservices, API enablement, and event-driven patterns.
• Design data and AI architectures including data lakes, MLOps frameworks, and analytics platforms leveraging Azure-native services.
• Integrate SaaS and enterprise systems (e.g., Oracle, CRM, ERP platforms), ensuring interoperability, governance, and security alignment.
• Develop solution proposals, RFP responses, estimates, and Statements of Work in collaboration with pursuit and delivery teams.
• Lead executive and technical workshops to shape strategic outcomes and drive solution direction.
• Apply enterprise architecture frameworks (TOGAF or equivalent) to ensure scalable, governed, and value-aligned solution design.
• Act as a trusted advisor from early engagement through deal closure, ensuring feasibility, clarity, and delivery confidence.

Experience

• Extensive across solution architecture, application modernization, or cloud transformation roles, ideally within global system integrators or large enterprise consulting environments.
• Proven delivery background before moving into pre-sales, able to demonstrate real-world implementation understanding.
• Strong experience designing application modernization and integration architectures, including APIs, containers, Kubernetes, and event-driven patterns.
• Experience with Azure application and data services, including PaaS, serverless, databases, analytics, and AI toolchains.
• Track record in complex SaaS/enterprise system integration, particularly Oracle, CRM/ERP, and industry platforms.
• Demonstrated success in shaping and winning large-scale transformation programs.
• Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills, comfortable engaging both C-level stakeholders and senior technical audiences.
• Enterprise architecture certification (e.g., TOGAF) strongly preferred.
• Azure Solution Architect Expert or equivalent cloud certification advantageous.
