Job summary

Good co India seeks an experienced Azure Solutions Architect to design secure, scalable cloud solutions on Microsoft Azure, aligning with business and technical requirements. You will lead cloud transformation, modernization, and migration of on-prem workloads to Azure.

Job description

Role & responsibilities

• Design and architect secure, scalable, and highly available cloud solutions on Microsoft Azure aligned with business and technical requirements.
• Lead cloud transformation initiatives, application modernization, and migration of on-premises workloads to Azure.
• Define cloud architecture, governance, security, networking, disaster recovery, and high availability strategies.
• Design and implement Azure services including Azure App Services, AKS, Azure Functions, Azure SQL Database, Cosmos DB, API Management, and Azure Storage.
• Collaborate with development, DevOps, infrastructure, and security teams to deliver cloud-native applications and enterprise solutions.
• Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using ARM Templates, Bicep, or Terraform and automate deployments through Azure DevOps CI/CD pipelines.
• Optimize cloud performance, scalability, reliability, security, and cost using Azure Well-Architected Framework best practices.
• Review solution designs, provide technical leadership, conduct architecture reviews, and mentor engineering teams.
• Ensure compliance with organizational security standards, identity management, and governance policies using Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD) and Azure Security services.
• Engage with business stakeholders, prepare technical proposals, perform effort estimation, and support pre-sales or solution consulting activities when required.

Preferred candidate profile

• 7 to 12 years of IT experience with strong expertise in Microsoft Azure cloud architecture and enterprise application design.
• Hands-on experience with Azure services, cloud migration, Kubernetes (AKS), Microservices, DevOps, and Infrastructure as Code.
• Strong knowledge of Azure Networking, Identity & Access Management, Security, Disaster Recovery, High Availability, and Cost Optimization.
• Experience designing cloud-native solutions using C#, .NET Core, ASP.NET Core, REST APIs, and SQL Server is highly preferred.
• Proficiency with Azure DevOps, Git, Docker, Kubernetes, Terraform/Bicep, PowerShell, and CI/CD automation.
• Strong understanding of cloud architecture frameworks, design patterns, governance, and enterprise integration.
• Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert (AZ-305) certification is highly preferred; AZ-104, AZ-204, or AZ-400 certifications are an added advantage.
• Excellent analytical, communication, stakeholder management, documentation, and technical leadership skills.
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments and leading cross-functional technical teams.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related field; Master's degree is an advantage.
