Job summary

ALEC Energy is seeking a Site Supervisor – Solar in the UAE to lead day-to-day solar installations across rooftop, carpark and ground-mounted projects in Dubai or Abu Dhabi. You will oversee PV module mounting, electrical connections, and commissioning, ensuring adherence to HSE and project timelines.

You will coordinate with engineers, subcontractors, and clients, maintaining quality and safety while driving efficiency and timely reporting to the Project Manager.

Qualifications

• Strong communication and coordination abilities.
• Basic proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
• Good understanding of electrical drawings and LV connections.
• Hands-on experience with solar installations, maintenance and troubleshooting.
• Ability to work independently and lead small teams safely and efficiently.

Responsibilities

• Support site preparation and mobilization, ensuring permits, materials and manpower are in place.
• Supervise daily solar installation activities including PV panel installation, wiring, cable trays and commissioning.
• Coordinate with engineers, consultants and subcontractors to ensure program milestones are met.
• Maintain daily manpower records and oversee on-site tools and equipment management.
