Position Summary

CitySolar is seeking a motivated Solar PV Design Engineer to join its team in Dubai. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing Solar PV systems, preparing technical documentation, and ensuring compliance with industry standards and local regulations. Candidates should be proficient in both Arabic and English and have a solid understanding of electrical engineering principles.

Core Accountabilities

• Design and develop Solar PV systems for residential, commercial, or industrial projects.
• Prepare PV system layouts, single-line diagrams (SLDs), calculations, and technical documentation.
• Ensure electrical designs comply with applicable engineering standards and regulations.
• Utilize PV design software and AutoCAD to prepare accurate project designs.
• Coordinate with project teams to support the successful execution of Solar PV installations.
• Ensure compliance with DEWA and TAQA Solar PV regulations.

Skills & Experience Required

Education & Experience

Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering preferred; minimum 2 years of relevant experience preferred, though fresh graduates with relevant educational backgrounds are also encouraged to apply.

Technical Proficiency
