Job summary

Dome Group seeks an experienced Solar HSE Manager to lead HSE at solar EPC project sites in the UAE. You will develop and implement site HSE plans, risk assessments, and safe systems of work, ensuring regulatory compliance and a strong safety culture.

Role covers supervision of civil works through commissioning, with focus on high-risk activities, PTW, incident investigations, and workforce training. UAE-based, project-site locations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related Health, Safety, or Environmental field.
• NEBOSH IGC mandatory.
• NEBOSH Diploma or equivalent is an advantage.
• Desirable extra qualifications in construction safety and incident investigation.
• ISO 45001/ISO 14001 auditor qualifications are advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Lead site HSE plans, risk assessments and safe systems of work.
• Oversee HSE during all solar EPC activities from civils to commissioning.
• Manage high-risk activities including working at height and electrical safety.
• Ensure UAE regulatory compliance with federal and emirate rules.
• Conduct site inspections, audits, toolbox talks and close actions.
• Investigate incidents, near misses and implement corrective actions.
• Deliver HSE inductions and training, verify competencies.
• Monitor PTW system and risk assessments before high-risk work.
• Establish emergency response and environmental controls.
• Manage subcontractor HSE plans and performance reviews.
• Maintain HSE statistics and monthly performance reports.
• Coordinate with client, authorities, and consultants.

Education

Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Engineering, Environmental Science, or a related discipline

NEBOSH International General Certificate (IGC) in Occupational Health and Safety

NEBOSH International Diploma or equivalent higher-level HSE qualification

Additional qualifications in construction safety, environmental management, incident investigation, fire safety, first aid, or risk assessment

ISO 45001/ISO 14001 auditor/lead auditor certification
