Job summary

PeopleStrong seeks a Project EHS Manager to develop, implement, and monitor HSE programs for large-scale renewable energy projects such as solar PV or wind. You will ensure compliance with international and local regulations, lead incident investigations, and liaise with clients, contractors and stakeholders to uphold a strong safety culture.

Qualifications

• 15+ years of related experience in EHS management for construction
• Renewable energy project experience (solar PV or wind)
• Strong knowledge of international and local standards and regulations

Responsibilities

• Provide direction for occupational health, hygiene, safety, quality and environment for the renewable project.
• Design, develop and manage implementation and maintenance of safety, health, quality and environmental management systems.
• Initiate and maintain environmental management program for Project.
• Collaborate and manage construction health, hygiene and safety management for the Project.
• Optimize business efficiency and continuity.
• Manage occupational health, safety, hygiene, environmental and quality resources.
• Ensure that project has the required approval for project EHS plan in place.
• Attend review meetings organized by Employer/CE related to health & safety issues and inform stakeholders.
• Attend weekly project review meetings with PM and project management team members.
• Prepare and submit monthly reports for health, hygiene, safety and quality issues to Project Director.
• Prepare and submit periodic review reports for health, hygiene, safety and quality issues to Project Director.
