Key Responsibilities

• Execute and maintain mobile CI/CD pipelines that support pull request builds, caching strategies, release automation, and mobile quality checks.
• Help manage and improve mobile build infrastructure, including in‑house macOS device farm workflows where required.
• Implement automated quality guardrails in CI to check performance, stability, screen availability, and release readiness before code is merged.
• Support release infrastructure automation by delivering tasks and improvements within short to medium planning cycles.
• Build integrations that connect crash logs, automated test results, and release data with observability dashboards.
• Automate the collection of incident and regression data across mobile releases to improve visibility for engineering teams.
• Implement API and contract testing within CI pipelines to reduce the risk of backend changes breaking mobile apps.
• Build automated mock servers and test data generation scripts that improve the stability of end‑to‑end UI testing.
• Write and maintain automated linting rules, static analysis checks, and quality gates to catch architectural issues early.
• Develop scripts, bots, and internal tools that reduce repetitive code review tasks and improve developer productivity.
• Collaborate with mobile engineers, backend teams, platform teams, and product squads to understand quality infrastructure needs.
• Troubleshoot pipeline failures, test instability, infrastructure issues, and automation gaps that affect delivery speed.
• Document automation workflows, tooling decisions, and quality checks so teams can use and improve them consistently.
• Contribute clean, maintainable production code in languages such as TypeScript, Python, Ruby, Go, Swift, or Kotlin.

Ideal Profile

• 1‑3 years of experience as a Software Engineer, SDET, Platform Engineer, DevOps Engineer, or similar technical role.
• Strong programming ability in at least one language such as TypeScript, Python, Ruby, Go, Swift, or Kotlin.
• Able to write clean, maintainable, production‑quality code for automation, tooling, and infrastructure use cases.
• Hands‑on experience configuring CI/CD pipelines using tools such as GitHub Actions, Bitrise, Jenkins, or similar platforms.
• Comfortable writing shell scripts, especially Bash, for automation and operational tasks.
• Experience building or contributing to automated testing frameworks such as Maestro, Appium, XCUITest, Espresso, or similar tools.
• Solid understanding of mobile application architecture and how mobile apps interact with backend services.
• Familiarity with API testing, contract testing, mock services, and test data automation is an advantage.
• Able to think in systems and build infrastructure that improves reliability, speed, and quality at team level.
