About the Role
We are looking for an experienced Social Media / Digital Marketing Specialist Manager to lead and manage the organization\'s digital marketing ecosystem. This role focuses on building brand awareness, driving student recruitment and event engagement, and optimizing performance across digital channels. The ideal candidate is a strategic thinker with expertise in digital campaigns, website management, and social media strategy, who can use data and technology to achieve measurable results.
Responsibilities
Digital Strategy & Planning
- Develop and implement short- and long-term digital marketing strategies aligned with organizational goals.
- Research and recommend emerging platforms, tools, and technologies to enhance engagement.
- Define KPIs for digital initiatives and report results to leadership.
Website & Content Management
- Oversee website architecture and content, ensuring SEO optimization, accessibility, and an excellent user experience.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to maintain fresh, engaging, and brand-aligned content.
Social Media Leadership
- Manage official social media accounts (Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, X, YouTube), including content calendars and campaigns.
- Monitor trends, respond proactively to issues, and analyze engagement data to refine strategies.
Digital Campaigns & Analytics
- Plan and execute digital marketing campaigns (paid and organic) across email, WhatsApp, affiliate portals, and social platforms.
- Track performance using analytics tools and optimize campaigns based on data insights.
Stakeholder Engagement & Collaboration
- Partner with academic and administrative teams to support their digital communication needs.
- Manage relationships with agencies, vendors, and technology partners to ensure high-quality deliverables.
Qualifications & Experience
- Education: Bachelor\'s degree in Digital Media, Communications, Marketing, or a related field (Master\'s degree preferred).
- Experience: 5-7 years of experience in digital communications, marketing, or social media management, ideally within higher education or a large organization.
- Proven experience leading digital campaigns, managing websites, and developing multi-platform content strategies.
- Strong knowledge of SEO, SEM, and digital advertising best practices.
- Skilled in CMS platforms (WordPress, Drupal), social media management tools (Hootsuite, Sprout Social), and analytics platforms (Google Analytics, Meta Insights).
- Experience with multimedia content creation (video, graphics, interactive media) and MarTech tools (HubSpot, Marketo) is a plus.
