Job summary

Eaton is seeking a Process Engineer – SMT PCBA in Dubai to set up, validate, maintain and improve all SMT equipment and processes. You will work with R&D and Industrialization to optimize manufacturability, yield and reliability, ensuring quality and efficiency across PCB/PCBA manufacturing.

The role covers process qualification, KPI tracking, and continuous improvement initiatives with a hybrid work model in a global energy leader.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electronics/Mechanical/Industrial Engineering.
• 5+ years of experience in PCBA SMT manufacturing engineering.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain operators and maintenance work instructions for SMT equipment.
• Proactively manufacture PCBA SMT prototypes for NPI and transferred PCBA projects.
• Support ProLaunch deliverables: Process flow chart, PFMEA, PPAP.
• Influence PCB/PCBA design through DFM reviews with R&D.
• Ensure SMT ECO/MCO implementation on time.
• Track and improve SMT line cycle times and update SMT RCCP.
