Job summary

Rowad Modern Engineering seeks a Site Nurse to provide medical care and first aid to workers at construction sites, manage emergencies, and ensure compliance with occupational health standards. The role requires a nursing degree and DOH license, with prior site nurse experience preferred.

The candidate will coordinate with hospitals, maintain medical records, and support HSE in safety procedures while ensuring confidentiality of medical information.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Nursing from a recognized institution.
• Valid DOH (Department of Health – Abu Dhabi) nursing license or eligibility.
• Previous experience as a Site Nurse in the construction industry.
• Valid Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Knowledge of first aid, emergency response, and occupational health and safety.
• Strong communication, reporting, and emergency management skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a construction site environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide first aid and basic medical care for workplace injuries, illnesses, and emergencies.
• Assess employees’ health conditions and coordinate hospital referrals when necessary.
• Respond to site accidents and medical emergencies in coordination with the HSE team.
• Maintain accurate medical records, treatment logs, and incident reports.
• Ensure the site clinic is equipped with essential medical supplies and first-aid equipment.
• Monitor workers’ health and support occupational health awareness initiatives.
• Coordinate with hospitals, ambulance services, and relevant medical providers.
• Ensure proper handling and disposal of medical waste.
• Support the HSE team in implementing site health and safety procedures.
• Maintain confidentiality of all employee medical information.
