Job summary

GMA MARBEL TILES & FLOORING TRADING L.L.C. is seeking a drafting and supervision professional to prepare shop drawings and cutting layouts for natural stone projects. You will review drawings, prepare cut lists, and coordinate with project teams to ensure quality and timely delivery.

The role requires AutoCAD proficiency, experience in marble or natural stone fit-out projects, and the ability to manage installers and labourers on site in the UAE. UAE driving licence preferred.

Qualifications

• Diploma or technical qualification in Civil Engineering, Drafting, or a related field.
• 3–5 years of experience in marble, natural stone, or fit-out projects.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and preparation of shop drawings and cutting lists.
• Strong knowledge of stone fabrication, finishing, and installation.
• Experience supervising site workers, installers, and fabrication activities.
• Ability to read technical drawings, take site measurements, and coordinate material requirements.
• Strong organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• UAE experience and a valid UAE driving licence preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare shop drawings, cutting layouts, and fabrication details for natural stone works.
• Review architectural drawings, BOQs, and site measurements.
• Prepare material take-offs and cutting lists to minimize wastage.
• Supervise daily fabrication and installation activities.
• Coordinate with the project manager, QS, factory, and site teams.
• Manage installers and labourers, assign tasks, and monitor productivity.
• Ensure stone works meet approved drawings, specifications, and quality standards.
• Coordinate material requirements, deliveries, and site progress.
• Identify and resolve technical issues and report delays or defects.
• Ensure compliance with site safety requirements and proper material handling.
