Job Description / Role:

Our client is currently hiring for the position of Site Engineer.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and supervise daily site activities for interior fit-out projects.
• Ensure all site works are executed as per approved drawings, specifications, BOQ, and project requirements.
• Monitor daily work progress and ensure activities are completed within the approved project schedule.
• Read and interpret architectural, structural, interior design, and MEP drawings.
• Ensure execution is strictly as per the latest approved construction and shop drawings.
• Coordinate with the Design and Technical Team for drawing clarifications and technical solutions.
• Identify drawing discrepancies and raise RFIs (Requests for Information) wherever required.
• Plan and allocate daily manpower requirements based on project activities.
• Supervise technicians, carpenters, electricians, plumbers, painters, gypsum workers, and other skilled/unskilled labour.
• Monitor workforce attendance, productivity, and performance.
• Prepare material requests based on project requirements and approved drawings.
• Coordinate with procurement for timely material delivery to site.
• Verify delivered materials against approved samples, specifications, and purchase orders.
• Ensure all works comply with approved drawings, specifications, and project quality standards.
• Conduct regular inspections of completed and ongoing works.
• Coordinate with consultants and clients for inspections and approvals.
• Ensure all site activities comply with UAE health and safety regulations and project-specific HSE requirements.
• Ensure workers use appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
