Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Supervise civil construction activities for transmission line projects at sites.
• Monitor pile foundation works including layout, boring, reinforcement, and concreting.
• Ensure tower foundations meet drawings, specs and project requirements.
• Coordinate with contractors, subcontractors and project teams to meet timelines.
• Maintain quality control with material inspection and concrete testing.
• Verify survey layouts, excavation levels, reinforcement details and shuttering.
• Keep daily progress, site records and inspection documentation up to date.
• Ensure compliance with site safety standards and procedures.
• Identify and resolve site-related technical issues with design teams.
• Monitor manpower, materials, equipment and contractor productivity on site.
• Coordinate with clients, consultants and inspection teams for site approvals.

We are looking for an experienced Site Civil Engineer with mandatory experience in Transmission Line projects and hands-on expertise in Pile Foundation works. The candidate will be responsible for supervising civil construction activities at project sites, ensuring quality, safety and timely execution as per project specifications and engineering standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and execute civil construction activities for Transmission Line projects
• Manage and monitor Pile Foundation works, including site preparation, pile layout, boring drilling, reinforcement cage installation, concreting and related activities
• Ensure execution of tower foundations as per approved drawings, specifications and project requirements
• Monitor site progress and coordinate with contractors, subcontractors and project teams to achieve project timelines
• Ensure quality control of civil works, including material inspection, concrete testing and foundation checks
• Verify survey layouts, excavation levels, reinforcement details, shuttering and concreting activities
• Maintain daily progress reports, site records, inspection reports and construction documentation
• Ensure compliance with site safety standards and applicable construction procedures
• Identify and resolve site-related technical issues in coordination with design and project teams
• Monitor manpower, materials, equipment and contractor productivity at the site
• Coordinate with clients, consultants and inspection teams for site inspections and approvals

Minimum Qualifications

• Minimum 5+ years of experience in civil construction
• Mandatory experience in Transmission Line projects
• Hands-on experience in Pile Foundation execution and supervision
• Strong understanding of tower foundations, reinforcement, concreting and foundation drawings
• Knowledge of civil construction quality standards, site safety and inspection procedures
• Ability to read and interpret civil and structural drawings
• Strong site coordination, problem-solving and reporting skills
• Willingness to work at project sites and travel as required
