Job summary

Stantec in Abu Dhabi is seeking a qualified professional to oversee design compliance and conduct site inspections for building and mixed-use projects. Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Architecture or related field.
• 5-7 years of MEP experience in building and mixed-use projects.
• DMT registration and other UAE regulatory registrations/certifications.
• Strong knowledge of UAE codes, authority regulations, and applicable construction standards.
• Experience reviewing technical drawings, shop drawings, specifications, and material submittals.
• Strong problem-solving, technical coordination, and communication skills.
• Solid construction site experience.

Responsibilities

• Oversee design compliance and conduct site inspections for building and mixed-use projects.
• Identify and resolve design issues in coordination with contractors, engineers, and other project stakeholders.
• Ensure construction activities comply with approved drawings, project specifications, UAE codes, and applicable authority regulations.
• Review technical drawings, shop drawings, specifications, and material submittals to ensure compliance with project requirements.
• Coordinate with contractors and engineers to address technical concerns and resolve site-related issues.
• Monitor construction activities and ensure adherence to approved designs, quality standards, and regulatory requirements.
