Job summary

Stantec in Abu Dhabi is seeking an experienced Construction Manager for major building projects. The role requires 15–20 years in construction management, with strong leadership, coordination, and QA/QC experience aligned to UAE standards.

Candidate must hold SOE and DMT registrations and be proficient in MS Office; Primavera P6 is advantageous. The position is full-time and on-site, based in Abu Dhabi with oversight of contractor teams and project delivery.

Qualifications

• 15–20 years of relevant building construction experience.
• Proven experience as a Construction Manager on building projects.
• SOE and DMT registration is mandatory.

Responsibilities

• Manage and coordinate day-to-day construction activities and site operations.
• Lead and coordinate contractors, subcontractors, consultants, and project teams.
• Monitor project progress, programme, resources, and construction sequencing.
• Ensure works comply with approved drawings, specifications, quality standards, and HSE requirements.
• Identify and resolve technical, construction, and site coordination issues.
• Coordinate design changes, variations, and additional works with relevant stakeholders.
• Conduct site inspections and monitor quality and workmanship.
• Support project completion, snagging, testing, commissioning, and handover activities.
• Ensure compliance with Abu Dhabi authority requirements and project procedures.
