Job summary

A leading global consultancy in Abu Dhabi is seeking a Senior Site Architect to oversee and ensure compliance of architectural works with contract documents. The role requires at least 15 years of experience in the Middle East, including 6-8 years in the UAE, along with a Bachelor's degree in Architecture. Strong technical knowledge of building codes and excellent communication skills are essential. The successful candidate will also coordinate activities across disciplines and manage architectural inspections.

Qualifications

• Minimum 15 years of experience in the Middle East, including 6-8 years in the UAE.
• Experience in an international consultant environment is required.
• Ability to review and provide feedback on technical documentation.

Responsibilities

• Monitor architectural works for compliance with contract documents.
• Process all architectural technical submittals and answer architectural RFIs.
• Supervise and coordinate architectural activities with colleagues and sub consultants.
• Review contractor's change order proposals and claims.

Skills

Technical knowledge in exterior envelope details

Excellent communication skills

Knowledge of Abu Dhabi and UAE building codes

Proficiency in Microsoft Office

Familiarity with AutoCAD

Education

Bachelor's degree in Architecture
