Job summary

Stantec is seeking an experienced Construction Manager – Buildings in Abu Dhabi to supervise on-site activities, ensure designs, quality standards, and schedules are met, and report to the Resident Engineer or Project Manager.

The role targets professionals with strong PMC or consultant background who can oversee contractor performance, manage progress, and deliver medium to large-scale building projects on time and within budget.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related discipline.
• 8–12 years of relevant construction experience.
• PMC or consultant-side experience in supervision and contractor management.
• Valid SOE and DMT registrations are mandatory.
• Previous UAE work experience is required.
• Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to manage construction activities while maintaining quality and schedule objectives.

Responsibilities

• Supervise on-site construction activities to ensure compliance with approved designs and specifications.
• Monitor contractor performance and ensure work is completed according to contract requirements.
• Verify compliance with quality standards, safety requirements, and project schedules.
• Coordinate with the Resident Engineer and Project Manager on technical and progress-related matters.
