Job summary

Modora - A division of GMG in Dubai seeks an Interior Designer who drives showroom sales by working with walk-in clients and steering design-led purchases from our furniture range.

You will meet monthly sales targets, earn commissions, and handle space planning, consultation and end-to-end project management for whole-room and villa orders. Strong design sense enhances selling ability; hands-on drafting and vendor coordination are required in a fast-moving showroom.

Qualifications

• Showroom or retail floor experience selling to walk-in clients.
• Furniture industry background is essential.
• Professional English.
• Has carried a sales target and earned commission in a previous role.

Responsibilities

• Meet and exceed a monthly sales target and commission plan.
• Convert single-item enquiries into whole-room and villa projects.
• Consult with walk-in clients, space-plan and build design schemes from the Modora range.
• Manage made-to-order and custom work end-to-end: client brief, spec sheet, order, and managing the client through factory lead times.
• Work inside the designer-sales handoff model: origination credit stays with the person who brings the client.
