This position plays a central role in maintaining continuity across production, crude oil storage, metering, export, commissioning, and plant isolation activities. The Shift Supervisor coordinates operational teams, monitors plant conditions, supports maintenance readiness, and ensures that process facilities remain within approved operating and HSE parameters. The role also contributes to workforce competency, product quality, inventory control, shipping readiness, emergency response, and continuous improvement across production operations.
The successful candidate should hold a Diploma in Engineering and bring at least 5 years of relevant experience in production, process plant, storage, export, or related oil and gas operations. The role requires practical experience supervising operating activities in a process environment where production continuity, equipment isolation, crude oil handling, shipping schedules, and process safety are critical. Candidates should be comfortable leading shift personnel, interpreting operating conditions, coordinating maintenance preparations, resolving plant-performance issues, and maintaining disciplined operational records. Experience working around process plants and outdoor industrial facilities is important, as occasional site activities may involve exposure to heat, humidity, dust, and prevailing weather conditions.
