Job summary

NewRocket in Dubai is looking for a ServiceNow expert to advance SAM Pro configurations, discovery workflows, and service mapping within complex enterprise environments. You will work with stakeholders to define key functionalities and ensure accurate CMDB bindings.

The role requires hands-on experience with ServiceNow SAM Pro, REST API integration, and building interfaces via Service Portals or custom models. You will collaborate with SMEs to strengthen service maps and discovery coverage.

Qualifications

• Experience with ServiceNow SAM Pro and its implementation.
• Ability to develop interfaces for user audiences via custom application models or Service Portals.
• Experience integrating REST APIs and discovery workflows.
• Knowledge of multi-tier service discovery and pattern configuration.

Responsibilities

• Develop customer applications for Work Order management, scheduling, and dispatch
• Collaborate with stakeholders to identify key functionality within custom ServiceNow instances
• Enhance ServiceNow event rules to ensure proper CMDB binding
• Interact with technical SMEs to support service map and event work

Requirements

• Experience with ServiceNow SAM Pro
• Ability to communicate and implement SAM Pro
• Ability to develop interfaces for user audiences via custom application models or Service Portals
• Experience developing integrated logic and functional components via REST APIs
• Understanding of service-oriented and distributed application architecture
• Knowledge of Credential-less and Credential-based Discovery
• Experience installing, configuring, and integrating ServiceNow SAM Pro with a focus on discovery, service mapping, and Multisource CMDB
• Ability to prevent duplicate CIs with CI identifiers
• Experience extending Horizontal Discovery with custom Infrastructure and Application Patterns
• Knowledge of configuring and maintaining MID servers
• Proficiency in command line console for Service Mapping
• Ability to migrate patterns between environments for Service Mapping
• Proficiency in configuring Identification Rules for Service Mapping
• Knowledge of multi-tier service discovery and advanced pattern configuration
