Job description

We are looking for a motivated and technically inclined Service Engineer – Fresher to join our Service & Technical Support team. The ideal candidate should have a strong foundation in mechanical engineering, good problem-solving skills, and a willingness to learn about machinery, installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist senior service engineers with installation, commissioning, maintenance, and troubleshooting of machinery.
• Conduct inspections and identify mechanical faults or technical issues.
• Support preventive and corrective maintenance activities.
• Assist in diagnosing machine breakdowns and implementing appropriate solutions.
• Read and understand mechanical drawings, manuals, and technical specifications.
• Perform basic machine testing and ensure equipment is functioning properly.
• Visit customer sites to provide technical and after-sales support when required.
• Maintain service reports, installation records, and maintenance documentation.
• Coordinate with the Service, Sales, and Technical teams to resolve customer issues.
• Follow all company safety procedures and technical standards.
• Continuously develop knowledge of the company's machines, tools, and equipment.

Preferred Skills

• Basic knowledge of AutoCAD / SolidWorks or other engineering software.
• Knowledge of pumps, motors, gear systems, bearings, pneumatics, or similar mechanical components.
• Hands-on experience through academic projects, internships, or industrial training will be an advantage.

Desired Candidate Profile

• Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering/ Electronics/ Mechatronics
