Job summary

Black Pearl in Abu Dhabi is seeking an experienced Senior Server Administrator to join its IT Infrastructure team. You will manage and maintain the Microsoft server environment, ensuring high availability, security, and optimal performance of critical business systems.

Responsibilities include administering AD, DNS, DHCP, VMware/Hyper-V, Dynamics 365, and Azure in hybrid setups, implementing backup and DR plans, and collaborating with IT and external vendors on projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in IT, CS, or related field required.
• 5+ years of Microsoft server administration experience in an enterprise.
• Strong experience with Windows Server, Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and networking services.
• Dynamics 365 administration and support experience preferred.
• Knowledge of virtualization, especially VMware/Hyper-V, and hybrid Azure environments.
• Familiarity with Microsoft 365 administration and security best practices.
• Backup, disaster recovery, and business continuity planning knowledge.
• Excellent troubleshooting and collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Administer, maintain, and optimize Microsoft server infrastructure.
• Manage Active Directory, GPOs, DNS, DHCP, and security permissions.
• Support and maintain Dynamics 365 and related Microsoft apps.
• Monitor performance and ensure high availability and security.
• Perform server installations, upgrades, patches, and migrations.
• Manage virtualization and storage environments.
• Implement backup, DR, and business continuity strategies.
• Troubleshoot infrastructure issues and collaborate with teams and vendors.
• Prepare documentation and operational procedures.
• Participate in upgrades and digital transformation initiatives.
