Job summary

Black Pearl Consult in Abu Dhabi seeks a Senior Server Administrator to join the IT Infrastructure team. The role focuses on managing the organization’s Microsoft server environment, ensuring high availability, security, and performance of critical systems.

The successful candidate will have extensive experience in Microsoft server administration, Active Directory, and Microsoft Dynamics 365, with the ability to support enterprise-level infrastructure and business applications.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in IT, CS, or related field.
• 5+ years of Microsoft server administration in enterprise.
• Hands-on with Windows Server, Active Directory, DNS/DHCP, and GPO.
• Experience with virtualization (VMware/Hyper-V).
• Familiar with Microsoft 365, Azure, and hybrid environments.
• Knowledge of backup, DR, and BCP planning.
• Strong troubleshooting and collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Administer and optimize Microsoft server infrastructure.
• Manage Active Directory, GPOs, and security permissions.
• Support Dynamics 365 and related business apps.
• Monitor performance and ensure high availability.
• Perform server installations, upgrades, and patching.
• Maintain virtualization environments and storage.
• Implement backup, DR, and business continuity.
• Troubleshoot server/network issues and liaise with teams.
• Document configurations and operational procedures.
• Lead infrastructure upgrade and digital transformation efforts.
