Job summary

Hafiz Electromechanical Contracting LLC in Ras Al Khaimah, United Arab Emirates, seeks a Senior Wet Utilities Infrastructure Engineer to manage large infrastructure projects from design through handover. You will lead hydraulic design reviews, VE studies and technical-commercial coordination with authorities and clients.

Selection requires 10–15 years’ experience, 7+ years UAE exposure, and strong skills in AutoCAD, Civil 3D and hydraulic modelling.

Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree in Civil or Mechanical Engineering.
10–15 years of relevant professional experience, including a minimum of 7 years in the UAE.
Proven experience executing and managing major wet utilities and infrastructure projects.
Strong understanding of sewerage, stormwater, water distribution, irrigation and pumping systems.
Demonstrable ability to interpret hydraulic models, engineering calculations and infrastructure designs.
Experience in coordination with authorities for submissions, NOCs and approvals in the UAE.
Excellent written and spoken English communication skills.

Responsibilities

Review IFC drawings, tender drawings, technical specifications, BOQs and design reports for accuracy, constructability and contractual compliance.
Independently review hydraulic calculations, pipe sizing, gradients, flow velocities, hydraulic grade lines, pumping capacities and network performance.
Prepare and review shop drawings, corridor layouts and detailed engineering submissions.
Identify design discrepancies, utility clashes, missing scope, technical risks and optimization opportunities.
Prepare and review RFIs, technical queries, material submittals and method statements.
Coordinate with designers and consultants to achieve compliant, buildable solutions.
Lead value engineering studies for sewerage, stormwater, potable water, irrigation and related systems.
Oversee construction planning, site supervision, progress tracking and QA/QC.
Coordinate authority submissions, NOCs and infrastructure approvals with UAE authorities.
