Job summary

Anotech Energy in the United Arab Emirates is seeking an experienced project leader to oversee the engineering, procurement, construction and delivery of water-sourcing infrastructure for a major oil and gas development project.

You will lead alternative water-sourcing facilities from engineering through handover, coordinating with contractors, suppliers and multidisciplinary teams to ensure quality, cost and schedule targets are met.

Qualifications

• Master's degree or equivalent in a relevant engineering or technical discipline.
• Minimum 15 years of experience in oil and gas project execution, construction or infrastructure development.
• Strong experience in civil works, well pads, pipelines and E&I works.
• Proven experience managing EPC contractors, subcontractors and multidisciplinary teams.
• Good knowledge of HDPE pipelines, project interfaces and international contractor management.
• Strong leadership, negotiation, communication and project management skills.
• Fluent in English; Arabic language skills would be an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage all activities related to alternative water-sourcing facilities, from engineering through construction and handover.
• Oversee contractors, suppliers and multidisciplinary teams to ensure project deliverables meet the required quality, budget and schedule.
• Manage the construction of well pads, surface facilities, pipelines and associated electrical and instrumentation works.
• Coordinate with other project teams to ensure seamless integration with processing facilities, pipelines and related infrastructure.
• Ensure compliance with project specifications, applicable standards and HSSE requirements.
• Identify project risks, implement mitigation measures and promote cost-effective solutions.
• Manage contractor selection, tendering activities and contract execution.
• Support local content initiatives, including the recruitment and training of local personnel.
• Lead and coordinate project team members to ensure successful project delivery.
