Job summary

GOPA Tech is building its expert pool for water-related infrastructure projects in Abu Dhabi, UAE, under the TAQA Transmission Consultancy Framework. We seek seasoned project managers and lead water engineers to join our roster for forthcoming opportunities.

We are looking for professionals with a minimum of 10 years in project management, including 5 years in water infrastructure within the UAE and TAQA, capable of leading teams across feasibility, design, tender, and construction phases, and

Qualifications

Minimum 10 years of professional experience in project management.
At least 5 years focused on water-related infrastructure in the UAE and within the TAQA environment.
Demonstrated experience leading teams across feasibility studies, design, tender preparation, and consultancy support during construction.
Proven ability to act as the main point of contact for clients and key stakeholders.
Strong experience in directing teams and managing project scope, budget, resources, schedule, and quality.
Ability to plan and schedule workloads and resources effectively across complex assignments.
Experience in organising and managing project meetings and review workshops.
Ability to communicate project expectations and client requirements clearly to multidisciplinary teams.
Strong communication, leadership, time management, and problem-solving skills.
Proactive, well organised, and able to perform effectively under pressure.
Strong awareness of safe working practices for large-scale water infrastructure projects.
Proficiency in MS Office, with working knowledge of MS Project and Primavera.

Responsibilities

Lead project teams through feasibility studies, design, tender preparation and consultancy support during construction.
Serve as main client and stakeholder point of contact.
Direct teams and manage project scope, budget, resources, schedule and quality.
Plan and schedule workloads and resources across multiple complex assignments.
Organise and manage project meetings and review workshops.
Clearly communicate project expectations and client requirements to multidisciplinary teams.
Demonstrate strong communication, leadership, time management and problem-solving skills.
