Job summary

Sigma Earth is seeking a senior water resources engineer to lead planning, modelling, and advisory services across diverse projects in the UAE and beyond. You will develop integrated water supply-demand strategies, evaluate infrastructure concepts, and support digital data platforms for decision making.

The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor's in Civil/Environmental/Water Engineering, Chartered status, and extensive experience with water modelling tools.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil, Environmental, or Water Engineering.
• Chartered status or equivalent accreditation.
• Extensive experience in water resources planning and integrated water management.
• Proven experience with water resource and hydraulic models (GoldSim, dynamic modelling).
• Strong planning, risk assessment, and master plan delivery for large projects.
• Experience in stakeholder engagement and capacity building.
• Excellent written and verbal communication in English.
• Ability to work in multidisciplinary and multicultural teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead and support water resource planning and advisory services across projects.
• Develop integrated strategies for water supply and demand management.
• Utilize hydraulic modelling tools to support planning decisions.
• Contribute to conceptual design, feasibility studies, and technical specifications.
• Support digital transformation with data platforms and analytics.
• Coordinate with stakeholders and authorities to ensure collaboration.
• Mentor junior engineers and foster high-performance teams.
