Role Context
The Senior Treasury Analyst is responsible for managing treasury functions including banking relationships, bank guarantees, account funding, compliance controls, and financial reporting. This role works closely with commercial teams, project accounting, and corporate treasury to ensure efficient financial operations, strong banking support, and full compliance with company treasury policies.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate with commercial and bids teams and corporate treasury for bank guarantee requirements related to bid submissions
- Review and support approval of bank guarantee text formats for tender submissions
- Arrange bank support letters from corporate treasury or partner banks as required
- Liaise with project teams and corporate treasury for timely issuance of bank guarantees
- Identify opportunities for new credit lines by engaging with prospective relationship banks
- Maintain regular communication with existing banks for annual facility renewals and relationship management
- Resolve banking issues related to receipts, payments, and bank guarantee operations
- Prepare monthly reports of outstanding bank guarantees including project, entity, and facility utilization details
- Prepare quarterly bank guarantee forecasts in consultation with project teams and stakeholders
- Review and approve petty cash reimbursement claims in line with company policies
- Review and sign off treasury receipt journals monthly to ensure SOX compliance
- Ensure treasury-related SOX controls and compliance requirements are maintained according to company policy
- Manage periodic account funding to support effective cash flow management
- Handle ad-hoc treasury requirements and support continuous treasury operations improvement
Ideal Profile
- Qualified Chartered Accountant or equivalent qualification from an internationally recognized institute
- 3 to 6 years of relevant post-qualification treasury or finance experience
- Strong understanding of banking functions, treasury controls, and financial compliance
- Hands-on experience with treasury products and treasury management systems
- Good communication skills and ability to work with internal and external stakeholders
- Strong analytical and reporting capabilities with attention to financial accuracy
- Ability to manage multiple deadlines and tight reporting schedules
- Capable of working independently with minimal supervision
