Overview

To ensure operational efficiency of retail Leisure / Wholesale / Corporate / Conference segments by providing tactical support, product development, training modules to Consultants and Assistant Consultants; and be instrumental in evolution of the segment to a fully functional department.

Essential Roles and Responsibilities
  • Create Al Tayer Holiday's product / packages using the best deals from the principals & suppliers
  • Create detailed flyers on major tourist destinations; prepare Al Tayer Holidays World Travel Brochure; standardized formats for quotations, terms & conditions and standard operating procedures
  • Develop One-Stop-Shop & Best-Buy Guarantee concepts; to provide company with competitive edge in the industry
  • Source & partner overseas service providers such as tour operators, land transport operators, airlines etc., negotiate with them on prices, tour packages for group travel, terms of payment and other relevant details in order to develop new products and market the same for increasing business in a competitive environment.
  • Receive and process customer feedback, at the end of their holiday, to gauge their views / opinions on the level & quality of service offered by Al Tayer Travels and scope for improvement, if any
  • Review, recommendation, development or modification of standard operating procedures to enhance operational efficiency
  • Periodic evaluation of team product knowledge and sales figures; monitoring objectivity by meeting with team; preparation of report for submission to line manager
  • Enable junior staff to resolve customer service issues by troubleshooting / providing creative solutions and trainings
  • Create and assess learning & development assignments / training modules for consultants and assistant consultants.
Skills and Experience
  • 4-6 years experience in the travel / Tourism industry
  • Additional qualifications in IATA certification would be an advantage
