Job summary

Hitachi Energy Systems LLC in Abu Dhabi is seeking a Senior Service Engineer to execute SLA programs, retrofit upgrades, and modifications of control and protection systems for medium to high complexity projects. You will manage site activities, ensure safety and quality, and advise clients on maintenance and upgrades.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or master's degree in a relevant field preferred.
• Broad knowledge of HE systems and the technical environment.
• Knowledge & experience of third-party products and systems.
• Proactive coordination and reporting to Service Engineering Team Leader.
• Proficiency in written and spoken English.

Responsibilities

• Execute SLA programs Retrofit Upgradations Extensions and Modifications of control and protection systems for medium/high complexity projects.
• Manage site activities to meet contract specs, quality standards and safety requirements.
• Advise clients on maintenance and upgradation of existing installed base.
• Provide presentations/training on new products and conduct POCs.
• Represent Service Engineering at project and design review meetings.
• Produce as-built project documentation and drive process improvements.
• Support project managers with claims and scope changes.
• Create work plans and cost estimates and manage to target costs.
• Coordinate with external organizations providing service engineering support.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and Hitachi Energy policies.
