Job summary

Hitachi Energy Systems LLC in Abu Dhabi invites an experienced Project Manager to lead large-scale government infrastructure programs. You will manage planning, budgeting, execution, and delivery while ensuring compliance with safety, quality, and contractual requirements.

The role spans cross-functional leadership, client liaison, contract and procurement oversight, risk and change management, and process improvements to enhance project performance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering.
• Experience with HV Substations Grid Integration.
• 10 years of work experience within relevant fields.
• PMP certification.
• Proficiency in both spoken & written English is required.

Responsibilities

• Overseeing the end-to-end lifecycle of the project including planning budgeting execution and delivery ensuring alignment with project goals and timelines.
• Serving as the primary point of contact for client and consultants internal project teams and company operational management.
• Providing guidance on technical aspects of design construction and commissioning.
• Preparing and managing project budgets ensuring cost efficiency without compromising quality.
• Leading Contract management team for effective Contracts and Change management.
• Implementing and monitoring quality control measures.
• Presenting project status/issues in reviews and communicating with stakeholders.
• Developing a comprehensive Risk management strategy and monitoring risks.
• Defining and executing Project Procurement plan and coordinating with SCM.
• Leading and mentoring project teams.
