Job summary

Hitachi Energy is seeking a Service Engineer to manage retrofit upgrades and system modifications for Substation Automation systems in Abu Dhabi. In this role, you will represent the engineering function in project meetings and ensure effective project execution with a focus on safety and quality standards.

Your responsibilities include executing service engineering activities, preparing project documentation, and ensuring compliance with regulations. The ideal candidate will have a degree in electrical engineering and 6–10 years of experience in substation engineering.

Qualifications

• 6–10 years of experience as an SCMS engineer.
• Proven design, testing, and commissioning expertise.
• Willingness to travel 100% to customer sites.

Responsibilities

• Execute retrofit upgrades and modifications for Substation Automation systems.
• Perform system modifications, extensions, and upgrades, including site acceptance testing.
• Develop HMI configurations according to project specifications.
