Job summary

Wynn Al Marjan Island is seeking a Senior Technician to join the resort’s GRMS/AV and Entertainment Technical Services team on-site in the United Arab Emirates.

The role focuses on installation, configuration and maintenance of GRMS components, integration with lighting, audio and environmental controls, and ensuring safety and compliance for guest-facing systems. You will collaborate with IT, Facilities, and events teams to support VIP arrivals and seasonal programming.

Qualifications

• Diploma or certification in Electrical Engineering, AV Technology, or related field.
• 2–4 years of experience in GRMS or AV systems within hospitality or entertainment environments.
• Experience with Crestron, QLab, Navigator CSC, or similar control systems is preferred.
• Familiarity with DMX, DALI, Art-Net/sACN protocols.
• Proficient in troubleshooting control systems and networked devices.
• Fluent in English; strong communication and coordination skills.

• Diagnose and resolve hardware/software faults in GRMS networks and control systems.
• Coordinate with IT and Facilities teams for network and power-related dependencies.
• Work closely with AV, engineering, and housekeeping teams to ensure GRMS readiness for VIP arrivals and special events.

About The Position

Responsibilities

• Install, configure, and maintain GRMS components including control panels, sensors, switches, and networked devices.
• Monitor GRMS performance and respond to system alerts or guest-reported issues.
• Support integration of GRMS with AV systems, including lighting, audio, video, and environmental controls.
• Assist in the programming and customization of GRMS interfaces to align with brand standards and guest preferences.
• Maintenance & Troubleshooting
• Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance of GRMS and AV systems.
• Diagnose and resolve hardware/software faults in GRMS networks and control systems.
• Maintain accurate service logs, wiring diagrams, and technical documentation.
• Coordinate with IT and Facilities teams for network and power-related dependencies.
• Safety & Compliance
• Ensure all GRMS installations comply with electrical safety standards and UAE regulations.
• Follow Wynn safety protocols for in-room systems and backstage technical areas.
• Collaboration & Event Support
• Work closely with AV, engineering, and housekeeping teams to ensure GRMS readiness for VIP arrivals and special events.
• Provide technical support during room mock-ups, system upgrades, and seasonal programming.
• Assist in the testing and rollout of new GRMS features or guest-facing technologies.

About You

• Diploma or certification in Electrical Engineering, AV Technology, or related field.

• Experience with Crestron, QLab, Navigator CSC, or similar control systems is preferred.
• Strong understanding of GRMS architecture and AV integration.
