Job summary

STAR SERVICES LLC in Abu Dhabi seeks a Senior Talent Acquisition Specialist focusing on Oil & Gas / EPC to lead end-to-end recruitment across engineering, construction, commissioning, and related disciplines.

You will screen CVs, assess technical suitability, source candidates via LinkedIn and portals, and manage client interviews, offers, and mobilization for EPC projects including refinery and petrochemical ventures.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field preferred.
• 10+ years of recruitment experience in Oil & Gas/EPC.
• Ability to understand technical requirements and evaluate CVs.
• Strong knowledge of Oil & Gas engineering disciplines and project environments.
• UAE/GCC Oil & Gas recruitment experience preferred.
• Experience with ADNOC or major Oil & Gas clients will be advantageous.
• Strong sourcing, interviewing, negotiation, coordination, and stakeholder-management skills.
• Engineering background with hands-on Oil & Gas recruitment experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end recruitment for Oil & Gas, EPC, Engineering, Construction, Refinery, Petrochemical, and Energy projects.
• Must be technically sound in Oil & Gas and able to understand technical JDs, engineering disciplines, project scopes, and industry terminology.
• Recruit across Engineering, Construction, Commissioning, Operations & Maintenance, QA/QC, HSE, Planning, and skilled technical manpower.
• Strong understanding of Mechanical, Piping, Electrical, Instrumentation & Control, Civil/Structural, Process, HSE, and QA/QC disciplines.
• Technically screen and assess CVs against project requirements, ensuring candidates have relevant Oil & Gas/EPC experience, qualifications, certifications, and project exposure.
• Ability to distinguish relevant Oil & Gas experience from general engineering/construction experience before candidate submission.
• Handle recruitment for EPC projects, upstream/downstream, refinery, petrochemical, shutdown/turnaround, maintenance, and commissioning.
• Source candidates through LinkedIn, Boolean search, job portals, databases, referrals, headhunting, and international recruitment channels.
• Manage client interviews, selections, offers, mobilization, and joining while meeting agreed recruitment timelines.
• Maintain strong technical talent pools and provide accurate recruitment updates to management and clients.
