Job summary

Qualifications

• A degree/diploma in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
• Minimum 6 years of design engineering experience in switchgear or ETO/MTO environments.
• Proficiency in SolidWorks, AutoCAD, and SolidWorks PDM.
• Strong knowledge of mechanical design, sheet metal fabrication, and manufacturing processes.
• Familiarity with GD&T and drafting standards.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office.
• Excellent communication and teamwork, with ability to work independently.

Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed manufacturing drawings and documentation based on project specifications and delivery schedules.
• Develop 3D models and 2D drawings using SolidWorks and AutoCAD.
• Conduct design reviews per established Design Control Plans.
• Coordinate with Design Managers and Project Managers to resolve technical discrepancies and ensure drawing accuracy.
• Track and communicate BOM changes to stakeholders.
• Ensure all project deliverables are completed within scheduled timelines.
• Follow up on pending technical inputs and maintain design accuracy.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support project execution.
• Maintain compliance with HSE policies and quality standards.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives within the engineering process.
